We guarantee full satisfaction with your StudioTech product. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return any product for a full refund within 30 days of receiving your order.
To ensure that you get your full refund, please follow these steps:
Contact us for an RA (Return Authorization) DetailsThe RA must specify each product you are returning. Without an RA your return shipment will be refused and returned to sender. Place a printed copy of the RA form inside each box you are returning, and write the RA number on the address label.
Return the products in unblemished, resalable condition DetailsUpon receipt at our distribution center, our staff performs a detailed inspection of all returned products. In order for StudioTech to issue a full refund, the product must be returned in “as new” condition. We must be able to put the product back in our warehouse and sell it to another customer. If any parts are worn or damaged, we replace those parts and make a deduction in your refund amount. The deduction corresponds approximately to the percentage of the product that needs replacement. Please note that assembling a piece of furniture and taking it apart often causes small nicks, dents, or scratches. They may seem minor at the time, but such a product is no longer in “as new” condition. Any part that shows wear or damage has to be replaced. If you are not sure whether you want to keep a piece of furniture, we recommend that you refrain from assembling it. If assembly is unavoidable, we recommend doing so with extreme care.
Return the products in their original packaging DetailsIf you are not sure whether you want to keep a piece of furniture, please hold on to all packaging materials. We package our products with great care to ensure that they arrive at your door undamaged. Take note of how each part was packaged, and send it back to us the same way. When items are mispackaged, damage almost invariably occurs. Each item must be individually wrapped to prevent damage to the finish. Foam blocks must be positioned so that parts cannot move around during transit. Outer cushioning sheets must be placed so that pressure and blows from outside cannot directly impact the furniture. If you have already disposed of the packaging materials before you decide to return a product, contact us for assistance. Do not rely on third party vendors. Even professional packaging services often fail to cushion our products correctly.
Use the correct type of carrier DetailsMost of our products can be shipped via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground, but some are too large or heavy. Products that must be shipped via pallet freight include: - U-22T
- U-60
- E-1
- R-22
- HF-33
- PS-33
If these products are not shipped correctly, they will almost invariably be damaged beyond recovery. FedEx Freight or UPS Road Freight can handle the products, but other trucking companies may offer better rates. If you are not sure what to do, contact us for assistance.
You must cover return shipping costs DetailsThe difference in rates quoted by different companies can be substantial. If you are not sure what to do, contact us for assistance. We may be able to save you hundreds of dollars in return freight costs.
Remember that, as the shipper, you are responsible for the shipment DetailsPackage the products carefully in their original packaging, and use the correct type of carrier. These two steps are the best way to prevent shipping damage. But even with the best preparation, accidents can happen. In case the product suffers shipping damage in return transit, you will have to file a damage claim with the freight carrier. We cannot issue a refund for a damaged or destroyed product, but the freight carrier that caused the damage ought to reimburse the value of the product to you, the owner. We will of course assist in any way we can, but we cannot guarantee the outcome of your damage claim. In this kind of case, the matter is no longer between you and StudioTech, but between you and the freight carrier. To guarantee that any shipping damage is fully covered, so that you do not run a risk of losing the money you paid for the product, we recommend that you insure your return shipment.
